The Old Tridents Society

Following instruction from the Headmaster Rev. Tucker in 1902, to create a 'Tridents' Club', the Old Tridents Society was founded in January 1903 by Housemasters Abraham Shuker and Francis Wortley 'with the object to further the interests of Trent College'. Following several successful decades of membership activity including social events and fundraising, the Old Tridents Society in Connection with Trent College was registered as a charity in 1963 (charity no. 8100009). In September 2023 the Society marked its 120th Anniversary with a celebratory dinner held at the Chatsworth Estate.

The Old Tridents Society aims to further the interests of Trent College and foster bonds with the OT community. Today a dedicated board of Trustees collaborates with the school's Development & Alumni Office to offer a range of activities and events for members to enjoy.
