We were delighted to welcome back the Class of 2015 for their 10-year reunion. The evening brought laughter, reflection and reconnection as classmates shared memories and caught up on life since leaving school.

Guests arrived to a welcome drink before being shown around the school by Sixth Form prefects, who took pride in their role as 'Trent Ambassadors'. Touring familiar corridors and classrooms prompted stories and smiles, with many reminiscing about lessons, teachers and friendships that have stood the test of time.

Everyone then gathered to enjoy a delicious BBQ prepared and served by Chef, and accompanied by an open bar and easy conversation. It was lovely to see some familiar faces among the former staff who joined the evening, reconnecting with their former pupils.

Old school photographs were on display in The Ivy Cafe, featuring sports teams, class groups and a whole-school photograph that prompted a cheerful “Where’s Wally?” search as OTs tried to spot themselves!

During the evening, a moment was taken to remember absent friends, with particular tribute paid to their classmate and close friend, Lizzie Godwin. Her memory, and the strong sense of friendship within this year group, were felt by all.

Reunions like this remind us of the lasting connections that begin here at Trent College. We’ll be writing to the Class of 2016 soon as plans begin for their 10-year reunion next year.
