Events Terms & Conditions

Tickets

Events hosted on the school campus do not require a ticket. You might be asked to bring your confirmation email or letter to some events and will be notified of this in advance. Otherwise, your name will always appear on a guest list.

If the event takes place at an external venue, tickets may be required and will be sent by post approximately two weeks prior to the event or via email approximately one week before the event. Otherwise, your name will always appear on a guest list.

Email confirmations for non-ticketed events will be sent approximately one week before the event.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds on ticketed events will be processed up to three weeks (21 days) before the event. Refunds requested less than 21 days and up to a minimum of 7 days will be considered on merit of event and circumstance. No refunds will be made after this time.

Where attendance is free of charge and there is an expected cost to the school (for example, catering cost), a charge will be made when no more than 24 hours’ notice is given of cancellation. If, due to unforseen circumstances, an event is cancelled full refunds will be issued within 4 weeks.

Attendance

It often helps other Old Tridents considering attending our events to know who else is attending. If you do not wish your name to be published in advance of the event, please contact alumni@trentcollege.net

Photography and Video

Photographs and video taken at events may be included in future publications or on the Trent College website. If you do not wish to be included in any of these images or footage, please opt out by contacting the Development & Alumni Relations Office: alumni@trentcollege.net

Dress code

Unless otherwise stated in the event information, there is no specific dress code and guests are kindly asked to respect the school surroundings and dress appropriately for the event. A smart casual or business dress reference is usually acceptable, and sports kit where required.

Conduct

We ask that all visitors to Trent College respect the environment and conduct themselves accordingly. Anyone appearing to be under the influence of alcohol upon arrival, will be asked to leave the site. Anyone consuming alcohol on the premises, inappropriate to the event, will be asked to leave.  Anyone having consumed alcohol at an appropriate school event, and is behaving in an unreasonable manner, will be asked to leave.

Keeping children safe in education

Where the event involves participation of pupils, you will be asked to read the school's safeguarding information leaflet and provide your photograph ID. This will be requested at least 1 week in advance of the event.
