Jacob G. Hardwick | Shuker 2016-2022

Passed away on 17 February 2026, aged 20

It is with great sadness that we share news of the untimely and extremely upsetting passing of former pupil Jacob Hardwick (Class of 2024, left 2022 after Year 11). A student at Nottingham Trent University studying Property Development and working part time as a trainee property consultant, Jacob was also a talented rugby player. He was tragically killed in a road traffic accident on the evening of Tuesday 17 February, while en route to a training session with the Leicestershire U20s squad. Jacob was a highly valued member of our school community, and his loss is felt deeply by many who knew him. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with Jacob’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
