Congratulations to Robert Goddard (Hanbury, 1978-1985) on receiving the award of Facial Surgeon of the Year at the 2024 Forttuna Global Excellence Awards held recently in Dubai.
Robert was presented with his award by Professor Dr. Sandra Matz, Professor at the Columbia Business School, USA. He says: “I am deeply honoured to have been awarded the UK Facial Surgeon of the Year! Having the privilege to accept this award at the ceremony in Dubai, alongside my wife Alison, I witnessed impressive displays of innovation and excellence”.
“This award is not just a reflection of my individual work but also of the incredible teams I work with. From the skilled professionals I collaborate with to the patients who trust me with their care. I will continue my work and contribution to the field of maxillofacial surgery and look forward to what the future holds”
In his acceptance speech Robert, a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in facial deformity surgery, gave heartfelt thanks to Forttuna for the recognition and shared his gratitude for everyone who has been part of his journey so far: “Here's to continued growth, learning and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for”.
