£10 booking fee includes light afternoon tea and donation to Kenyan Schools project.
The the tour is aimed at an adult audience however interested children are welcome.
Timings are approximate, please allow for the tour running over subject to group interest.
Afternoon tea will follow, served in the Fenn with an opportunity to view pre-selected items from the school Archives.
On-site parking is available on the main school terrace.
Former Head of Biology (1973-2004) David Pinney has been volunteering as the Trent College Archivist for more than 15 years, and was later joined by Rosemary Dobbin, daughter of former Headmaster Ford Ikin, who returned to Trent in 2022.
David and Rosemary give their time voluntarily, meticulously preserving and resarching the school's historical records and assisting
the Development & Alumni Department with the many archive enquiries received from Old Tridents, family members
or history researchers, each year.
The donation element of the booking payment will contribute to classroom resources and tree planting and care in the grounds of Nyacaba Primary School and Gowan Mt. View Academy, the two Kenyan schools that Trent College is very proud to have been raising funds for, for more than 20 years.
